Temperament

Bichons are apt for living in an apartment, but do require enough exercise, otherwise they can become obese. Taking them in a dog park and for walks are ideal ways to keep them active physically as well as mentally.
Healthcare
Bichons are by and large a healthy breed. However, they can undergo certain problems as every dog breed does. E.g. bichons are prone particularly to bladder problems, patellar luxation, allergies, juvenile cataracts, hip dysplasia and vaccination sensitivity.
