Almost 100 dogs have been rescued and re-homed by her and at present 2 poodles suffering from many allergies are being taken care of by her. She is an animal activist, raises voice for animal causes and operates a FB page for pets.

Maz is also an animal rescuer and foster parent to many pets for many years, and a dog trainer by profession. She has a science background and is now working as an online animal activist and blogger for all animal causes. She got inspired by the story of how Gaye pulled out Ruby from a hazardous condition and started the blog TheItchyDogBlog.com so that she can help other people whose pets are suffering from severe allergies.
