You should put an absorbent material or newspaper on the bottom of the kennel. It should also have a healthcare certificate issued by an authorized veterinarian and should be not more than ten days. You are not allowed to bring the animal to the airline too early, it sholuld not be more than four hours before the boarding time. If the transit is more than twelve hours, animals less than sixteen weeks of age should provided water and food. Older animals should be fed at least for every twenty four hours and water should be given to them for every twelve hours.

Other things to consider while flying puppies is if shipping is to Hawaii or international, make sure to check the laws of quarantine before reserving the ticket. Do not provide any sedatives to your pet without the approval of vet. Try to plan a non-stop fliht and prevent long traveling time as far as possible. Don’t forget to keep a familiar blanket and the favorite toy of your puppy inside the kennel.
